Born in Brooklyn, New York, Presidential candidate Al Sharpton became an ordained minister by the age of 10 and was heavily influenced by the Rev. Jesse Jackson and the civil rights movement of the 60's and 70's. Running on "trade and aide" catch phrases, and his no holds bar persona, his quick wit and preacher style of stumping has given him more popularity than what had been previously expected.
